Martin Davis is a renowned golf historian and publisher who founded Sports Marketing Group in 1980, creating the largest specialty golf publication house in the U.S. In 1990, he founded The American Golfer, publishing 39 high-quality golf books, including best-selling biographies and instructionals. Davis has contributed to the Golf Channel, CBS, and SiriusXM, providing expert historical perspectives. He is a past president and board member of the Metropolitan Golf Writers Association.
