She works with her clients to increase their overall body strength, balance, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness. Anna’s Corrective Exercise Specialist certification taught her to help clients to refine movement quality, address any muscular imbalances that may be causing discomfort, and return the body to optimal posture and form.
Proper form is essential so clients can train safely and move efficiently, enabling clients to progress at their own pace. Training might feel daunting at first, so Anna has a special interest in helping beginners and seniors, no matter their experience or level of existing fitness.
Anna understands the importance of balance and strengthening the core to stabilize the body. She’s been involved in various sports over the years such as rowing and even surfing, which is how she came to appreciate the vital importance of balance, especially as we get older. She knows first-hand that persistence brings about change when we commit to an endeavor.
A former medical student, Anna is a part-time health and fitness writer and has been for fifteen years, so she understands the science behind exercises and her experience has taught her how and when to progress or scale back exercises to keep her clients moving. Anna knows that fitness leads to a happier, healthier, more confident individual.
