OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS

The YMCA is a bridge to connect our community through partnerships and social responsibility. It takes the work of many organizations to do good in our community. The YMCA believes in collaboration and teamwork to best serve the lives of those in our community around our focus areas of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

GREENWICH UNITED WAY

The Greenwich United Way’s mission focuses on addressing critical human service needs, including education, financial stability, and health. Through extensive research and collaboration with local organizations, the Greenwich United Way identifies the most pressing issues facing the community and mobilizes resources to tackle them effectively.

We are immensely grateful to receive funding from the Greenwich United Way, which enables us to enhance our programs and extend our reach within the community. Additionally, we are proud to collaborate with their Reading Champions program, which recruits and trains volunteers to provide one-on-one literacy support to elementary school students. This partnership not only enriches our after-school offerings but also significantly contributes to the academic success and confidence of young learners.

GREENWICH PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Greenwich Public Schools is dedicated to fostering a safe, supportive, and challenging learning environment that inspires all students to achieve academic excellence and become responsible, contributing members of society. With a mission to cultivate a community of lifelong learners, the district focuses on providing high-quality education, promoting inclusivity, and encouraging personal growth.

We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Greenwich Public Schools, their dedicated faculty, and enthusiastic students through a variety of programs. Our partnership enhances our after-school, Running Start, summer camp, and Safety Around Water programs, among others. By working together, we are able to provide valuable learning experiences and support services that extend beyond the classroom, ensuring that students have the resources and opportunities to succeed both academically and personally.
