The YMCA of Greenwich offers a variety of Summer Camp options that value individuality, promote positive self-esteem, and build a sense of community. Our dedicated camp counselors are ready to provide a dynamic and engaging environment for campers of all ages. Weekly themes, special event days, swim lessons, sports, crafts, nature exploration, field trips and much more await our summer campers! We are committed to creating a memorable summer camp experience for all children. Join us for a summer filled with adventures!

To register for any of our camp groups, simply scroll to the 2025 Program Group section of this page, click on one of the buttons below, and follow the instructions to enroll.
Medical Forms MUST be submitted in addition to online registration!
Registration will not be confirmed until all documents are submitted.
- Complete the Health Assessment Record. Immunization records MUST be attached.
- Complete the Authorization for the Administration of Medication Form.
- Complete the IPC Form.

DISCOVERY CAMP
Ages 3.5-4 years as of January 2025
Our little campers will engage in a world of discovery! Focusing on peer socialization, teamwork and imaginative play through structured indoor and outdoor activities. They will experience the full range of our facilities, including YMCA-accredited swim lessons, outdoor park trips, and age-appropriate project challenges!

PURPLE TEAM (Ages 3.5-4)

ADVENTURE CAMP
Ages 5 & Up to 6th grade (as of Sept. 2025)

Our big campers will explore a breadth of adventures this summer! Emphasizing compassion, honesty, respect, and responsibility through team sports & games, swim & nature exploration, and dynamic STEM and arts projects, our campers will grow as active youths and community leaders all summer long. They will become true explorers through weekly field trips, including Tod’s Point, HAPIK indoor climbing gym, Playland Park and the Maritime Aquarium.

SUMMER SCHOOL HALF DAY
DATES TBA BY GREENWICH PUBLIC SCHOOLS
In partnership with Greenwich Public Schools, the half-day camp option is exclusively for students enrolled in summer school. After classes, campers will be bussed directly to our Y from New Lebanon for an afternoon of fun!


JUNE VACATION CAMP
June 23rd - June 27th, 9:00AM - 4:00PM (PM Extended Care Unavailable)
Skip the scramble for last-minute childcare and let the Y help you make the transition from school to summer camp stress-free! Open to children ages 3 to 12, the program offers a variety of fun activities, including arts and crafts, gym games, pool time, and fitness classes. Make the most of this transition week with a program your child will love and care you can trust.
COUNSELOR IN TRAINING PROGRAM
Applications Open March 1st!
Our Counselor in Training (CIT) program bridges the transition from camper to counselor. Interested candidates, ages 14 to 15, are welcome to apply online with flexible program week selection.
The program promotes leadership development through hands-on training, team building, activity planning, and contributing to the camp community. CITs will also receive CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration courses at no additional cost.
How To Apply
- Complete C.I.T. Application online.
- The Camp Leadership Team will review your application.
- Schedule an interview via Zoom.
- If accepted, you will be notified by the Camp Leadership Team and sent a program registration link.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
We Are Now Accepting Financial Aid Applications!
We are committed to ensuring any family, regardless of financial status, feels welcome to apply to the program. We are more than happy to assist families throughout this process, contact SummerCamp@gwymca.org for further details.
How To Apply
- Complete Camp Scholarship Application online (income documents required to complete application).
- The Financial Aid Committee will review your application and the Camp Leadership Team will contact you via email within 1-2 weeks of submission.
- If you qualify for aid, you will be notified via email and must accept the scholarship award to proceed with registering for camp.
- Once a scholarship is accepted, you must create an ActiveNet account BEFORE registering for camp. Sign up here.
- Notify the Camp Leadership Team once your account is created so your scholarship discount can be attached.
- Register for camp online. Discounts will automatically be applied at check out.

SEEKING DONATIONS
Help us ensure all campers are equipped this summer! We are seeking the following donations:
- Children’s Sneakers (good condition)
- Backpacks (good condition)
- Pool Goggles (good condition)
- Pool Towels (brand new)
- Water Bottles (brand new)
All donations can be left at the Front Desk, labeled for Julia Borges.
We are looking for Group Leaders, Counselors, Swim Instructors, and Lifeguards (Waterfront Certified) to join us in creating the best summer ever for our campers! Candidates must be 16+ years of age. Teens ages 14-15 can explore our CIT (Counselor-in-Training) program (information above).

- The Camp Leadership Team will review your application.
- First interview via Zoom.
- Second interview in person at the YMCA of Greenwich.
- If accepted, you will be notified and sent an offer letter to be signed and returned to JBorges@gwymca.org.
