Join us for a special Member Coffee as we welcome Peter Van Heerden, our new Senior Director of Athletics & Aquatic Operations. This is a great opportunity to meet Peter, hear about his vision for athletics and aquatics at the YMCA of Greenwich, and ask him your questions.

Peter brings both athletic and executive leadership experience to the Y. Raised in South Africa, he competed at the Junior National level in water polo, represented Rhodes University in rugby and water polo, and played at the provincial level. Locally, he has coached youth water polo and swimming at Staples High School. Beyond the pool and playing field, Peter has led multiple nonprofit organizations as Executive Director, where he focused on strategic growth, operations, and community partnerships.
