What if one small pause could change the way we respond to life's greatest challenges?
Join us at the YMCA of Greenwich for an inspiring and meaningful community lecture featuring Scarlett Lewis, founder of the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement.
After losing her six-year-old son, Jesse, in the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy, Scarlett made the extraordinary decision to turn her grief into a mission of creating a safer, more peaceful, and loving world.
Through her deeply personal story and powerful message, Scarlett shares how we can choose love over anger, respond thoughtfully during difficult moments, and build stronger connections with those around us.
During this presentation, you'll discover practical tools to:
-
Pause before reacting and approach challenges with greater clarity and confidence.
-
Manage stress and difficult emotions while maintaining your personal power.
-
Navigate conflict with empathy, curiosity, and compassion.
-
Build resilience and strengthen relationships with family, friends, and community.
-
Create greater connection and belonging through everyday choices.
Scarlett will introduce the Choose Love Formula™—Courage + Gratitude + Forgiveness + Compassion-in-Action—along with her Choice Moment Model™, simple tools that children and adults alike can use in everyday life.
Whether you're navigating family relationships, workplace stress, personal challenges, or simply looking for ways to bring more kindness and connection into your life, this presentation offers something for everyone.
This event is FREE and open to all YMCA members and the greater community. We invite you to join us for an evening of inspiration, reflection, and connection.
