This Giving Tuesday, we invited YMCA members and guests to share what the YMCA means to them by writing their thoughts on a piece of fabric and adding it to our Fabric of Community Wall in the Mason Street Lobby. This heartfelt display serves as a powerful symbol of how we unite and strengthen our community, highlighting the values of connection, support, and togetherness that are at the heart of everything we do at the YMCA of Greenwich.

The Impact of Our Annual Campaign
Thanks to the contributions of our members, staff, and donors, we are able to provide vital support to those in need. Here are just a few of the ways the Annual Campaign is making a difference in our community:

• $385,000 in financial assistance was awarded in 2024, enabling families to access memberships, childcare, and health programs.
• 40% of camp families received summer camp scholarships, offering critical childcare and enriching experiences for children in our community.
• 50% of students in our After School Enrichment Program benefit from financial aid, ensuring that every child has access to a safe, supportive space for learning and growth.
• $65,000+ is allocated annually to fund LIVESTRONG and Parkinson’s wellness programs at zero or reduced cost, empowering participants to reclaim their health.
• 600+ 4th graders in Greenwich Public Schools learned essential water safety skills through our Safety Around Water program.
• 100 children received new school clothing through our Running Start program, giving them the confidence to start the school year strong.
