Sponsorship in Action
At the YMCA of Greenwich, we support people at every stage of life. Our youth programs help kids grow in confidence. Our wellness initiatives help adults and seniors stay strong. Our many events give neighbors a reason to connect. Together, they build a place where everyone belongs.
The partnership between the Y and Amulet Capital, an investment firm based in Greenwich, shows how this can look. The firm's investment approach is guided by four core principles: Focus, Vision, Stewardship, and Legacy. That Legacy extends beyond the firm and into helping the community.
In addition to its financial contributions, the firm's team has shown up for the Y in practical ways. Employees have volunteered their time to assemble goodie bags for Healthy Kids Day and our Halloween Fun Day event and to wrap holiday gifts for our Giving Tree initiative. "It's rewarding to know we're helping create a fun, welcoming experience for the children and families who attend," said Jenna Giampaolo, an Executive Assistant at Amulet Capital.
That kind of involvement lifts everyone. Children and families feel the warmth of a community that cares. Employees feel the pride of showing up for their neighbors. Volunteering is "an opportunity to make a tangible impact, build lasting community partnerships and demonstrate the values that define our culture," said Giampaolo.
