Partnering For More Impact: Community Partner Award from Boys & Girls Club
The YMCA of Greenwich is proud to be named the recipient of the Community Partnership Award at the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich’s 57th Annual Awards Night. This special recognition highlights the spirit of collaboration that defines our work and celebrates the shared commitment to youth development that unites our two organizations.
This year’s award honors the YMCA’s role in supporting the Boys & Girls Club Barracudas Swim Team during a pivotal time. While the Clubhouse has been under construction over the past two years, the Y opened its doors to the Barracudas, offering pool space, resources, and encouragement that helped the team continue to thrive.
“For the past two years, while our Clubhouse has been under construction, the YMCA of Greenwich has been an exceptional community partner,” said Cristina Vittoria, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich. “They opened their doors to our Barracudas Swim Team and welcomed our youth with open arms. We are truly grateful for their generosity, collaboration, and steadfast support of our mission.”
The Barracudas had a remarkable season—breaking records, earning titles, and continuing to build a legacy of excellence. At the Y, we’re proud to have played a small part in that success by ensuring the team had a consistent home to train, grow, and achieve their goals.
