Wellness Challenge of the Week (12/9 - 12/15): Upper Body Blast
Get ready to power up your upper body strength this week with our Upper Body Blast Challenge! Designed to target your arms, chest, shoulders, and back, this workout combines effective exercises with a fun pyramid set format to keep your muscles guessing and your workout engaging.
Challenge Workout:
Complete pyramid sets of each exercise, performing 12, 10, 8, and 6 reps per set. As the reps decrease, you can increase the weight to make it more challenging.
Exercises:
- Push-Ups (or TRX Push-Ups for added difficulty)
- Dumbbell Shoulder Press
- Cable Lat Pulldowns
- Bicep Curls
- Tricep Dips
Format:
- Perform each exercise for 12 reps in the first round, then 10 reps in the second, continuing down to 6 reps in the final round.
- Rest 60 seconds between each set.
- Focus on proper form and controlled movements to maximize results.
